AUDITION NOTICE - (Call Backs July 16th)
PREPARE:
30 second monologue (that coincides with the character you are auditioning for) and cold readings from the script (scripts will be provided)
Character List
TRUVY JONES – 40ish. She is the owner of the beauty shop.
ANNELLE DUPUY-DeSOTO – age about 20-25ish. A young hairstylist.
CLAIREE BELCHER – age late 60s to early 70s. The former “First Lady of Chinquapin”.
SHELBY EATENTON-LATCHERIE – age 25ish. Shelby is the “prettiest girl in town.”
M’LYNN (Mary Lynn) EATENTON – age early 50s, though she has the look and constitution of someone a decade younger.
OUISER (pronounced “Weezer”) BOUDREAUX – age late 60s to early 70s. A wealthy curmudgeon!
