We can't wait to see you in Summer 2023!
The summer theatre camps offered by the Carteret Community Theatre serve to provide Younger generations an opportunity to learn about and participate in the theatrical arts. The goal of these camps is to offer children a unique experience to use their imagination in a creative way that teaches empathy and cultural understanding. The camps have been designed specifically for children to not only expose them to the arts, but to develop cognitive skills and communication skills while building self-confidence.
Children in Carteret Community Theatre Summer Camps will also learn the fundamentals and infrastructure of the theatre while learning and performing dramatic works. These fundamentals will include knowledge of stage directions, acting skills, set designs and rehearsal routines. The camps will conclude with a final performance which is a culmination of all the skills they have learned and practiced so they may share with family, friends and the community.
